  Famous old-fashioned tteokbokki inside Seokgwan Market. It truly evokes memories of the old days and taste. Personally, I feel the flavor is slightly spicy and very sweet. It tastes good, but it might be too sweet to eat frequently. I think it is a nostalgic tteokbokki worth craving and eating occasionally. I heard it sells out quickly because it is usually crowded, so I got my order to go via Lucky Bikini during the first slot in the morning. What's surprising is that even though it was a weekday "open run," customers came in right after us.

  A hidden gem of a tteokbokki restaurant located inside Seokgwan Market. The shop with the sign that reads "Comprehensive Cosmetics" within the market is actually this tteokbokki specialty shop. The unique feature of this place is that it is takeout only. As a popular eatery, it opens at 10 AM and stays open until ingredients run out. It is closed on Sundays and closes early on Saturdays. Using brown sugar, the tteokbokki has a dark red color and is cooked and sold with glass noodles, fried dumplings, and fish cakes. When ordering takeout, they always include fish cake broth with the package. At 8,000 won per serving, it seems quite expensive, but the portion is enormous, so three people can eat their fill. Personally, while it is spicy, it felt a bit too sweet, which was a little disappointing.
