(August 2025) Had to get our hands on their viral salt bread that everybody queued up for when they visit Korea. Bought their [1] salt bread (4 pcs)(₩12,000). It's super soft and buttery. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with light sprinkles of salt on top that balance everything well. Simple staple but filling. This outlet also has good outdoor seating spot, comfortable to chill at and enjoy the bread slowly. Solid spot if you like classic salt bread done right. Note: 1. Return Tray/ Paper Bag station can be spotted near the seating areas. 2. Drinks are available in the same branch store next to it to their left. — Salt bread (set of 4) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Minimal menu. Maximum impact. Jayeondo doesn’t need fancy flavours or over-the-top toppings — they do one thing, and they do it well. The salt butter bread comes out warm, golden, slightly crisp on the outside and cloud-soft inside. That buttery centre melts just enough, and the light salt on top balances everything perfectly. Simple, but addictive. You might see a queue, but honestly? Worth the few minutes wait. Best eaten fresh — tear it open while it’s still warm and just enjoy the moment. Ikseon-dong has many cute cafés, but this one stands out by keeping it classic and letting the bread speak for itself. No drama. Just good bread.

My best friend introduced me to Jayeondo Salt Bread and on first bite, I immediately fell in love (insert mouth watering GIF here). I am not shamed to say that each time I went there, I ate all four pieces in one setting. Jayeondo’s Salt Bread is warm, fresh, moist, flavorful…. basically perfection. I can imagine tasting them as I type this review. If you are in the area, I would recommend that you treat yourself with this must have food experience. 10/10 recommend.

I guess I was lucky to have a taste of these delicious salt bread without waiting. Influencers have been boasting about this place on Instagram but finally I can agree to them, it was delicious. 4 pieces in a bag and one bite and it just disappear in your mouth, soft, salty, buttery, flaky and you will be left crying for more. Highly recommend place when you visit Seoul.

For a one menu shop, I thought it would be hard for them to live up to the hype but the salt bread really is that good! Amazing. It's like a savory croissant with fewer layers. So satisfying. Way better than sweet bakeries. Must try and definitely recommend!
