Jeongdong Observatory

This observation deck offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Seoul. Deoksugung Palace is surrounded by tall buildings and can be found in Seosomun 1-dong, Seoul City Hall. Each building is labeled with its name and introduction, allowing you to take your time exploring it. There are also information boards with old photos and historical stories about Jeongdong.

There is also an "Observatory Cafe" inside, where you can enjoy the view with a cup of aromatic coffee. It's open at the same hours as the observatory, so it's easy to visit, and it also sells a variety of sweets, making it a great place to take a sweet break. The cafe is operated by the city, so prices are reasonable, and the photo booth in the window is a great place to take photos.
