Discover authentic Korean culture in the Bukchon Hanok Village
A complex cultural space where you can unwind
A place where you can learn about and experience Korean traditional culture in Hanok. It is a complex cultural space that combines alleys from the 600-year history of the Joseon Dynasty with modern facilities. The entire structure is free to enter, allowing visitors to unwind for a while and enjoy the warm and peaceful atmosphere typical of Hanok, as well as explore other public Hanoks through the "space commentary program.”
An interactive program for self-expression
Various handicrafts that you can make. Calligraphy, playing Gayageum (Korean zither with twelve strings), and making flower tea are just a few of the hands-on activities you may participate in with expert teachers to better grasp Korean culture. Whether you are doing a traditional craft or writing Hangeul (Korean alphabet) with a brush, mementos of your efforts make great keepsakes.
