Busan Jungang Market

Once famous for its unique appearance, where merchants built their homes on the rooftops of the market buildings, creating another village. A major reconstruction project that began in 2007 relocated most of the shops to the newly built mixed-use building on the opposite side, but the market still operates in its former location, creating a unique scene that blends modernity and tradition. The mixed-use building is home to the largest flower shop in the Yeongnam region, and there are also sashimi restaurants, barbeque restaurants, buffets, and other eateries where you can enjoy a hearty meal.
