Namhansanseong

The history of this fortress wall dates back to the Joseon Dynasty and the Unified Silla. Due to its historical and cultural significance, the site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features defense facilities, four gates on the east, west, north, and south sides, and the remnants of the Hwagung Palace, which served as a temporary residence for kings. All year round, the view is magnificent, but in the fall, when the red leaves complement the castle, it is particularly striking. It's a great place to trek because of the trails that wind along the ramparts and the ancient paths that our ancestors once took. It's also well-known for its illuminated night view and panoramic views of the city beyond the ramparts.
