Deoksugung Palace

Dive into the legacy of the Joseon Dynasty and modern history
Perfect day-trip location in Seoul, with spring flowers and autumn foliage
Haenggung Palace is where King Seonjo stayed instead of "Gyeongbokgung Palace," which was burned down during the Japanese Invasion, and was later used again as a royal palace during the reign of Emperor Gojong. European-style modern buildings such as "Seokjojeon Hall," which received foreign envoys of the Korean Empire, and "Jungmyeongjeon Hall," an imperial library, were built to create a unique palace landscape. Although its size has been greatly reduced through the Japanese colonial period, it still has an antique landscape, with beautiful spring flowers in the spring and colorful autumn leaves in the autumn, making it a good place to enjoy an outing.
