Gamcheon Culture Village

The town is often referred to as the "Korea's Machu Picchu" for its terraced pastel-colored houses. Its origin traces back to the 1950s when Korean War refugees revitalized the hillside and settled here. The winding alleyways are lined with cute souvenir shops and coffee shops, and are dotted with murals and optical illusion artwork. The statue of the Little Prince and the Fox, perched on a vantage point overlooking the town, is a beloved photo spot cherished by many travelers.
