Gwanghwamun Traffic Notice (Mar 21)
On Saturday, March 21, a comeback show by BTS will take place at Gwanghwamun Square. Due to an expected crowd of around 300,000, extensive traffic and pedestrian restrictions will be enforced across the Gwanghwamun, Jongno, and City Hall areas to ensure public safety. Please be advised that Gwanghwamun Square and all nearby tourist attractions will be temporarily closed on this date.

π¨ All exits will be closed, and non-stop bypass hours are subject to change. π¨ Gwanghwamun Station (Exits 2β7, 9) and City Hall Station (Exits 1β8, 12) will be closed early in the morning, starting from the first train of the day. π¨ Nearby stations, including Euljiro 1-ga and Jonggak, may also implement non-stop bypasses if it gets overcrowded.
βοΈ Extra Subway Operations (24 times) β’ Extra trains will be added to the schedule from 9PM until late at night. β’ Please note that the number of extra runs and the specific schedule are subject to change.
β Buses
β’ Major roads around Gwanghwamun will be entirely closed. Accordingly, 62 Seoul bus routes passing through Sejong-daero, Sajik-ro, and Saemunan-ro will be temporarily detoured. β’ Following the police crowd management plan, buses will skip the Gwanghwamun Station Central Bus Lane stops without stopping.

π Special enforcement for parking and stopping violations will be strictly conducted from 12:00 to 22:00 on March 21 (Sat) on major roads around Gwanghwamun Square and Sejong-daero. Please exercise caution when using vehicles.
β Pedestrian & Bicycle Access Restricted
Significant restrictions will apply to Sejong-daero, Saemunan-ro, Jongno, Sajik-ro, and Yulgok-ro on the day of the event. β’ The event site is divided into four safety zones (Core, Hot, Warm, Cold). The Core and Hot zones (Stage & Seating area) can only be accessed through 29 designated gates. β’ Access to other entry points will be blocked. β’ Safety Warning: Due to expected high crowd density, please strictly adhere to the directions of the Seoul Police for a safe experience.

βοΈ Ttareungyi Service Restrictions Certain rental stations will be closed during the event. Rentals and returns are unavailable at affected locations. Returning a bike to a closed station will result in extra fees/overtime charges. Please use the nearest open station for returns.
